Corrections Policy

The Trenton Post is committed to accuracy, and to correcting the record openly when we fall short. Accountability is part of the job.

Report an error

If you believe we have published something inaccurate, email corrections@trentonpost.com with the story, the specific detail in question, and any supporting information. We review every request.

How we handle corrections

When we confirm a factual error, we fix it as soon as possible and add a note to the story explaining what was changed and when. We do not quietly alter the record. For minor issues such as spelling or formatting, we may update the story without a note. For substantive errors of fact, we always add a correction note.

Updates and developing stories

On developing stories, we may update an article as new information becomes available. Significant updates are dated and, where helpful, noted at the top or bottom of the story.
